4. Exclusions & Limitations (What is Not Covered)

- Improper Foundation & Ground Sinking: Structural stress, racking, or door jamming caused by placing containers on soft mud, unlevel terrain, or inadequate foundation footings.
- Unauthorized Third-Party Alterations: Uncertified wall cutouts, torch cutting, or structural framing modifications made after offloading without our written engineering authorization.
- Cosmetic Patina on Used Units: Surface oxidation, superficial paint scratches, transit tire marks, or minor exterior dents that do not impact structural or water-tight integrity.
- External Power Failures: Perishable cargo spoilage in Reefer containers caused by external utility electrical blackouts or improper voltage hookups.
- Acts of God & Force Majeure: Damage from named hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, severe earthquakes, or vehicular collisions.

Under a verified warranty claim, Shipping Container Transport LTD will, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies at zero cost to the customer:
- On-Site Mobile Repair: Dispatch certified technicians to perform mobile welding, door gasket replacement, or electrical service on your property.
- Component Replacement: Ship replacement door hardware, lock rods, ventilation parts, or HVAC units via express freight.
- Container Replacement: If a defect is deemed structurally unrepairable, we collect the defective container and deliver a replacement unit at our expense.
